About The Hike

Not to be confused with the swimming hole in Georgia, this waterfall hike is located in southern Washington state. It's a Pacific Northwest favorite on the waterfall circuit. Panther Creek Falls are located close to the gravel road in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The hike is a quick out & back with the trail descending to two levels of viewing platforms.

The upper platform is a well built trail while the trail to the lower platform area is more rugged. In total it's about a half mile of walking.

Getting There and Important Information

If using Google Maps search for Panther Creek Falls Parking otherwise you could easily pass by it and need to one-eighty it back around like I did.

There are no campsites along the trail but the parking lot is primitive and could be used for overnight parking or camping with no disturbance.
